- When they over-emphasize religion and/or have people assume that you're religious. It especially annoys me when "non-sectarian" groups do this.
- When they act like being pro-gay, pro-contraception, non-religious, secular, liberal, and/or feminist is contributing to a "culture of death."
- When they are misogynistic or homophobic.
- Pro-lifers who try to force their other beliefs on you.
- Pro-life groups that claim to "respect life from conception until natural death," but they don't speak out against capital punishment or failures in the Justice system that cause innocent people to be put to death.
- The phrase "vote pro-life." Um, what if you're a Democrat, a member of a third party, or an independent? I think what they're really trying to say is "vote Republican."
- When pro-lifers ignore scientific facts.
- When they assume that all other pro-lifers are Republicans.
- When they care more about "purifying" the pro-life movement (i.e. not allowing liberals, LGBT people, feminists, secularists, or non-Christians to participate) than actually ending abortion (*coughcoughABOLISHHUMANABORTIONcoughcough*).
- When they speak out against hormonal birth control, saying it "kills babies," ignoring the research that has suggested that this theory is unlikely.
- When they oppose the ERA because "it will increase abortion access." Um, Alice Paul was pro-life. Just saying.

Why the pro-life movement sometimes drives me crazy
