Why pro-lifers should also be pro-LGBT

A while back, I wrote a blog post about how difficult it is to be pro-life and pro-LGBT. It seems like the pro-life and the "traditional marriage" movements often mix together, and the pro-LGBT movement mixes with the pro-choice movement. Some idiots compare abortion to homosexuality and some idiots even think that gay marriage kills unborn babies.
First of all, comparing abortion to homosexuality isn't fair. Is it really as bad for two people of the same gender to be in a relationship as it is for someone to kill their unborn child? Is having consensual sex with someone of the same gender really as wrong as destroying a living human? Even if you think both of them are wrong, there's a huge difference.
The argument that gay marriage kills unborn babies is just ridiculous. I mean, if a gay couple is in a committed relationship (assuming neither of them have had any other sexual partners), then it wouldn't make sense that gay couples would have more abortions than straight couples.
However, this may not be completely true for all gay individuals. A pro-LGBT organization posted this on their Facebook page:

This quote implies that most lesbians don't engage in heterosexual sex. Unfortunately, this isn't true. It is important to realize that pregnancies among LGBT youth are higher than you might think. Anti-LGBT discrimination may be a factor in this. The article is mostly about discrimination in sex education, but it is also important to realize that sometimes gay people will sleep with people of the opposite sex to either make people think they're straight, or to "cure" their homosexuality. In addition, LGBT students, in comparison with heterosexuals, are almost three times more likely to be victims of rape. According to a study, 48% of LGBT university students were forced into having sex compared to 21% of heterosexual university students. According to another study, 50% of rape victims who became pregnant had abortions. It's also important to consider that about 3.5% of the adult population is gay, lesbian, or bisexual. So... this means that this quote probably isn't 100% accurate. However, if LGBT+ people weren't discriminated against, most pregnancies among LGBT people would be planned, and there would be fewer abortions.
Gay rights also help children who are up for adoption. It's hypocritical for people to advocate for adoption (as an alternative to abortion) while being against gay adoption. As long as the parents are good parents, they should be allowed to adopt.
But people still like to believe untrue things...
